Batteries Dead?

I can get you the hours anyway.

The machine burned. The owner said it had "about 4,000 hours on it." I was able to dig the clock out of the melted plastic console and I cut the wires off, and put it in my pocket.

When I got back to the office, I put DC power to it using a 9V battery and gauge told the truth.

A 5,000 hour difference is a lot of money!
